Alumni Network
Those who have gone through the H4 program will be considered an Alumni and will have the opportunity to engage with the course in different capacities:
Problem Sponsors: DHS employees submitting problems.
Co-problem sponsors: DHS employees who are able to support the Problem Sponsors with team introductions to other employees in the agency so students can gather data to validate or invalidate their assumptions.
University Teaching Teams: Teach lean startup methodology to the students and guide them through a hypothesis testing framework to validate or invalidate their hypotheses about the problem and solution.
Mentors: Advise the teams on their hypothesis testing process and make introductions to Subject Matter Experts (SME) they should speak to in order to validate or invalidate their assumptions.
Student Teams: Work on following up with leads from their problem sponsor and mentor to validate all aspects of the problem and solution recommendations.
